Hottest day on record, at least that is the rumor for this time of year. The colors are incredible. And the place is full of day hikers or over night hikers. Boys with beer bellies and girls with pink shoes and packs that must weigh a ton. Everyone seems to have heard about the college hikers in NJ who when confronted with a bear all scattered running. The bear must have thought hmm food. DONT RUN WHEN YOU SEE A BEAR!🏥
These weekend warriors are way trying to give stuff away. Food mostly. They don't get that I've planned what I need and that's what I'm going to eat. To make my pack lighter if nothing else!
